Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc was one of our top performers in our recent blind tasting. It opens with an elder flower and ginger bouquet. On the palate, this wine is just medium bodied, nicely balanced, slightly viscous and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild lime and ginger blend with faint minerality. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this very solid Sauvignon Blanc with a parchment packet steamed cod or sea bass with lemon butter garlic and vegetables. Winemaker Notes: The 2107 Sauvignon Blanc is extremely aromatic, with citrus, blossom and a touch of tropical fruit. It's fresh, bright and a perfect bottle for the patio or for pairing with seafood.
