Wine Review: This white gold colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a fragrant Bosc pear and green apple bouquet with a hint of wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and lively. The flavor profile is a tangy grapefruit with notes of nicely integrated minerality, Bosc pear and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors show nice length. This very good value offering would pair well with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
