Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty dark chocolate and black cherry blend. There were also notes of oak, nutmeg, and black currant detected as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well controlled. This Zin would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: What Makes You Quake? Huge, dark and rich. Coffee, dark chocolate, blackberry, plum and black cherry aromas, with smoky, spicy notes. Powerfully rich in the mouth with good intensity. A long spicy finish.
