Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant ripe red raspberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced, juicy, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe raspberry with notes of black cherry, oak and a touch of pepper and rhubarb. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are rather sticky and linger for quite sometime. I would pair this good value and fruity Zin with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
