Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling opens with a mild green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and viscous. The flavor profile is a tangy lemon flavored iced tea with notes of apricot. The finish is pleasantly sweet and very nicely refreshing. Enjoy this easy to drink dessert wine with a fruit tart or with sharp cheddar cheese slices. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Wehlen’s "sundial" vineyard produces the quintessential Mosel Riesling: delicate and refined, with a racy minerality. The Auslese ("selected late harvest") designation means the grapes are picked very ripe, resulting in a wine with a rich texture and deep flavors. This wine has a fine citrus fruitiness that is balanced exquisitely by crisp Mosel acidity.
