Wine Review: This light yellow colored Riesling from Mosel opens with a very shy and faint orange peel and ripe apricot like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. It presents itself with a forward blast of intensely sweet flavored lemon tea with a hint of apricot. The finish is refreshing and shows some minerality as it lingers for a little while. This wine would pair well with a Cuban sandwich.

Winemaker Notes: The Bernkasteler Graben Spätlese exhibits a typical slatey minerality which enhances a bouquet of Kiwi, Mango and ripe red apples. The rich palate delights with its fresh and playful nuances of grapefruit and tropical lime. Incredibly complex and complete.
