Wine Review: This Excellent pale yellow colored Auslese opens with a fragrant ripe pear and floral bouquet with a hint of peaches. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, refined, and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a delicious mild lychee and gentle peach blend with a hint of pineapple. The finish is elegant, pleasantly sweet and drifts away nicely. This is a great wine to finish off a special dinner. I would serve it lemon meringue pie. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Due to its individual slatestone notes it is straight ahead and complex at the same time. Ripe tropical fruits, like mango, pineapple and papaya form the first impression. The sweetness is well balanced by a fine acidity and gives the wine a good mouthfeel.
