Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with fragrant wet stone and green apple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, crisp, acidic and displays a lot of ripe fruit. Those fruit flavors are Bartlett pear and ripe green apple. I also detect notes of nicely integrated minerality and ginger spice. The finish remains sweet and its flavors linger for while after the wine is gone. This Riesling is sweet enough to be a dessert wine. I would serve it with an assortment Italian anise cookies, biscotti, and macaroons. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The name Badstube originates from a former hot spring, which in the Middle Ages heated a kind of "health spa". Our Badstube Riesling is racy with attractive peach and ripe apple flavors. It is a perfect partner for veal or turkey. Try it with chicken as well as with Sushi!
