Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling opens with a ripe Anjou pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, mildly sweet, and nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe Bosc pear with notes of pineapple and mild minerality. The finish is pleasantly sweet and friendly. This wine would be perfect with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Badstube Kabinett has a bouquet of ripe apricot, with spicy & exotic notes. Well-integrated acidity is combined with nuances of apple, nutmeg & white pepper. This wine achieves a nice balance between sugar and aciditiy. Try this Riesling with scalloped veal schnitzel with mushrooms and Gruyere cheese, served with mashed potatoes.
