Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a mild pear bouquet with a hint of lemon, almond and honey. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and displays crispy elevated acidity. The flavor profile is a honey infused orange tea with a hint of lemon. The finish is lengthy as its acidity lingers. One panelist thought it would pair well with lobster pizza. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 vintage in the Mosel was supercharged with full ripeness, astonishing acidity and dense mineral extract. It's as if nature turned up the volume on every component of the wine. Still, the 2010 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett retains the elegant style and delicate intensity that is characteristic of this vineyard.
