Wine Review: This yellow colored Riesling from Mosel rocks and is really impressive. It opens with an attractive mild apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and well balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious orange with hints of apricot and pear. The finish is sweet and lingers nicely. Our mini-tasting group agreed that this wine was dessert alone and did not require any additional food. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This intense Spätlese bears the characteristic purity of the vintage. It is very ripe and juicy, with a mouth-filling richness that is balanced by a firm, typically spicy minerality. At the end, there is a lovely lift to the dry finish. This is a wonderful wine for richer foods. Its low alcohol makes it especially good with spicy Asian/fusion cuisine.
