Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling opens with an appealing wet stone, flowers, and green pear bouquet. It just begged you to taste it. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, lively and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused pear with a hint of apple and peach. The finish is semi-dry and very pleasant. This wine is very food friendly and one of the dry styled Rieslings I have covered so far. I would pair it with baked ham with pineapple. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is richer, denser and a bit softer than the Dr. Loosen “Red Slate” dry Riesling, with similarly warm fruit and a juicy mid-palate.
