Wine Review: This light yellow colored dry Riesling opens with a mild peach bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp, and slightly effervescent. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused lime with notes of green apple and peach. The finish is pleasantly dry and refreshing with notes of minerality that resonate for a while. Fans of dry-styled Riesling will enjoy this wine. Pair it with a Monte Cristo sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dr. Loosen's Red Slate Riesling is a dry counterpart to the "Blue Slate" Kabinett. It has an intense minerality that is warm and enveloping, with a floral, spicy aroma of citrus blossom. It is harmonious on the palate, with a full, expansive texture and a firm peach pit grip to the finish. Very expressive.
