Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from Germany will not last long once opened. It opens with a ginger laced apple bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly effervescent and care free. The flavor profile is a slightly sweet apple with hints of lemon and tea. The finish is remains mildly sweet, but is also subtle. This Riesling will be easily quaffed and would be perfectly refreshing while poolside on a hot day. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Medium intensity of lemony yellow colour. Pronounced aroma of vineyard peaches. Comes across as fresh and luscious with generous stone fruit flavours. Very long with a perfectly balanced acidity and gorgeous minerality that provides the wine with the for the Doctor typical hint of saltiness in the finish. An extremely elegant wine with a tremendous ripening and development potential. Great with seafood and fish. Also try with sushi. Excellent partner in combination with Asian cuisine.
