Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cab from Argentina opens with a fragrant ripe boysenberry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. It displays slightly sour black cherry flavors that are quite jammy. I also detected notes of milk chocolate and spice. The finish is dry and its dusty old tannins are nicely prolonged. This would be a perfect wine with a big thick burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is one of our best examples of well integrated oak, where expression of fruit, elegance, and richness are the main attributes. With a red violet color, the aromas of our Doña Paula Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 present black fruits, blackcurrant and bell pepper, combined with spice box and graphite notes in different layers. It is medium bodied, with fresh acidity, and a pleasant finish.
