Wine Review: This pale copper colored Sparkling Wine from Domaine Carneros really impressed the Tasting Panel. It displays some random steaming small bubbles. It opens with a bread dough and red cherry bouquet with hints of tea leaves, strawberry, and wet granite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and brisk. The flavor profile is stony minerality, lime, and strawberry blend with notes of white peach and tangerine. We also detected some hints of chalky minerality and honey. The finish is off-dry, and it's refreshing acidity and flavors are very nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this refreshing Sparkling Wine with Rick’s shrimp cocktail or with a baked seafood casserole. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The wine's aroma, delivered on a delicate mousse, hints of strawberry, tangerine, orange blossom, marmalade, and potpourri. The palate displays peach, apricot, watermelon, and a touch of underlining honey for a soft, delicate mouthfeel and a smooth, long finish. Despite its color, it is a true Brut – as dry as our other wines.
