Wine Review: This dark ruby offering from Diamond Creek is terrific and was my favorite from the 2014 vintage portfolio. It opens with a very fragrant black cherry bouquet with hints of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious mild mineral infused black cherry with notes of oak and black currant. The finish is dry and its very well managed tannins drift along nicely. This Excellent Cab would pair perfectly with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
