Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a cola, vanilla, and black cherry bouquet with hints of red licorice and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and a bit savory. The flavor profile is slightly tart black plum and oak blend with notes of stony minerality, pomegranate and Chinese five spice. We also detected hints of tobacco and smoky oak throughout. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin or with a coriander encrusted Ahi tuna. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Pinot Noir has dazzling pale garnet color. The nose pulls you in with rich cherry and mouthwatering smoked meats. It carries classic flavor elements of Pinot Noir, with earthiness, mushroom and layers of baking spice. A long finish brings in traces of dark cacao, rhubarb and boysenberry, and lively tannins accentuate the complexity of this wine. It would pair beautifully with a veal chop or earthy mushroom dish.
