Wine Review: This pale yellow colored California Sauvignon Blanc from Dancing Bull is a steal! It can be found online for under $10. It opens with a grapefruit and papaya like bouquet. On the palate this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused yellow grapefruit and green apple blend with notes of quinine and white pepper. The finish is dry and rather refreshing. This is a very nice summer wine to enjoy poolside. I would serve it with bacon wrapped scallops or sesame chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Crisp, fruity flavors of lime, kiwi, mango and citrus make this wine the perfect wingman for spicy shrimp or grilled seafood. One sip conjures memories of fresh-squeezed lemonade on a hot summer day. Vibrant citrus flavors and a touch of that traditional Sauvignon Blanc grassiness give this wine a crisp, inviting acidity. Stick to pork, chicken or fish with this wine, but throw in some basil or cilantro to match its unique flavors and texture.
