Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from D-Cubed opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a slightly tart black cherry with a hint of plum and oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are briefly prolonged. This Zin is almost Pinot styled. It would pair well with a barbecue chicken sandwich or raspberry chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A very intense wine with aromas of raspberries, blackberries, cardamom, and vanilla. The wine is very rich in the mouth with exquisite balance. Fresh favors of raspberry, vanilla, hints of oak and other spices linger over the long, smooth finish.
