Wine Review: This salmon colored wine opens with an appealing mild strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red cherry and strawberry blend with notes of integrated with a hint of tangerine. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Rose is food friendly and would pair well with grilled red snapper and mango with cilantro-lime vinaigrette. Enjoy - Ken

Cork Lore: A cork tree must be at least 25 years old before its bark can be harvested the first time, but it cannot be used for wine stoppers until the third harvest. Cork trees can be stripped of their bark no more than every 9 to 12 years. In one harvest, enough cork is removed from the average tree to make 4,000 wine stoppers.
