Wine Review: This clear pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cuvaison opens with a pleasant mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of lemon tea, crystalized ginger, and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, zesty, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is white grapefruit and lime blend with notes of white peach pit and ginger. We also detected hints of green melon, saline, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity were nicely extended and showed a touch of heat. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - KWGTP
