Wine Review: This garnet colored very good value Shiraz opens with a shy boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows little character. The flavor profile is a gentle and mild black cherry with a hint of black currant and touch of oak. The finish is dry and mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This everyday Shiraz would be a nice pairing with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Cupcake Barossa Valley Shiraz has a dark and inky garnet color with a nose of plums and blackberry jam. Black fruit mix with creamy chocolate on the palate and just a touch of black pepper that lingers after a long dry finish. It's reminiscent of a chocolate mocha and blackberry cupcake. This wine pairs with spicy ribs, Cajun catfish, or steak au poivre.
