Wine Review: This translucent red cherry colored Pinot Noir from Craggy Range opens with an aromatic potting soil and red raspberry bouquet with hints of cedar and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is slightly tart pomegranate and rhubarb blend with notes of loam, mushroom, and cola. We also detected hints of clove and cassis. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would serve this Pinot with seasoned bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, bison burger, or with grilled salmon burgers. Enjoy – KWGTP
