Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is very flavorful. It opens with fragrant gooseberry and yellow grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a yellow grapefruit and yellow pepper blend with notes of minerality. I also detected hints of pineapple and lemon. The finish is quite dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with grilled tequila lime fish tacos. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pale straw colour with a green hue. Lovely aromas of citrus blossom, lime, jasmine and the faintest hint of fresh honey. Subtle flavours of fresh lime and grapefruit are balanced with a fine chalky texture that is reminiscent of the stones and limestone within the vineyard. Finishes dry, fresh and long. Food Match: Seafood

Organic status: not organic
