Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from San Antonio Chile opens with a pleasant mild grapefruit bouquet with a hint of green apple and a touch of green pepper. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a gentle yellow grapefruit with a touch of integrated green pepper. I also detected a hint of minerality and a kiss of lime. The finish is dry and its refreshing flavors linger nicely. This wine would pair well with pan seared rainbow trout. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a pale yellow colored wine, with green hues. It demonstrates tropical fruit and citric notes, as well as mineral and herbal hints. With a fresh and juicy acidity, a long and elegant finish, ideal for aperitifs or for pairing with shellfish and fish dishes. Serve at 10°C (50ºF).
