Wine Review: This big boy blend is opaque and onyx colored and opens with a very fragrant blueberry liquor bouquet with a hint of anise, earth, and ripe black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich, and very concentrated. The flavor profile is a chocolate covered cherry with notes of oak and blackberry liquor. The finish is dry and its ripe fruit flavors linger on. There are moderate tannins and some heat as well. This wine is a warm you up wine for a cold winters night. Perfect by the fireplace. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine has a deep and vibrant magenta hue that persists to the edge of the glass. The aromas are very inviting, enticing with tones of dark berry fruits, chocolate and smoky coffee. On the palate the wine makes a bold entrance which is reaffirmed by a strong personality at its core. The mid-palate is big and the wine is nicely framed with chewy tannins that will allow this wine to age gracefully well into the next decade. The finish is long and lingering and this wine will reward the patient decanter.
