Wine Review: This yellow colored sparkling wine opens with an apricot and rock candy like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly sweet and effervescent. The flavor profile is a ripe tangerine with notes of apricot. I also detected hints of vanilla, honey, and red apple. The finish is semi-sweet and its flavors linger for quite some time. This wine is a real quaffer. It would be a perfect aperitif. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright yellow color with pale golden hues and a fine perlage. The bouquet is refreshing and delicate with aromas of peach, pear and the textbook citrus blossom, typical of Moscato. Moncalvina is an elegant, slightly sweet and sparkling wine. Captivating and fun to drink, Moncalvina is recommended with light pastries, Panettone (Italian Christmas cake) or simply on its own.
