Wine Review: Cono Sur is best know for its very affordable white wine offerings, however this dark ruby colored Cab moves them into the red recommended category. It opens with a faint black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry with a touch of black currant. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are moderately extended. This offering a Good glass pour option for a pub that serves juicy burgers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep, impressive ruby-red color, which suggests concentrated grapes harvested at the right moment. Its nose is governed by pleasant notes of plum, raspberry and sweet spices, while in this wine’s mouth chocolate and subtle hints of vanilla can be appreciated. A very structured, balanced, long and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon.
