Wine Review: This straw yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with wet stone and mild ripe Anjou pear bouquet with a hint of green pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a slightly tart lime with notes of integrated minerality. I also detected a hint of green pepper. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. This wine is put together nicely for a value wine. It is food friendly and would pair well with Ipswich fried clams and tartar sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc made from grapes grown organically, what has been certified by BCS Öeko Garantie GmbH. Young and fresh, this wine has a nice a bright pale yellow colour with green hints. Its nose is mineral and citric, with herbal hints and notes of white flowers and melon, which anticipate a balanced and chilling mouth that culminate in a long mineral finish. Overall, this is an expressive, refreshing, delicate, juicy and balanced Sauvignon Blanc.
