Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Cab was deemed to be the best deal when the results of our mid tier blind tasting were revieled. It opens with a mild strawberry and smoky old wood bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is an oak infused sour black cherry with a hint of red currant. The group suggested that this Cab would particularly appeal to Old World Cab fans. The finish is dry and its noticeable sticky tannins linger for a while. Pair this wine with beef bourguignon or a rosemary grilled veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright, deep red. Aromas of cherry, blackberry, cedar, black tar, and smoke. A smooth, almost silky texture with firm tannins and a long finish. Concentrated and full bodied. Enjoy Marqués de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon with red meats, cheeses, and pasta.
