Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored Merlot opens with a faint blackberry bouquet with hint of smoky oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild blueberry with notes of plum and vanilla oak. The finish is dry and it has very little tannin. This is a reasonably priced Merlot that would pair well with a bacon burger wine with provolone cheese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The H3 Merlot opens with aromas of raspberries, black pepper and earthy tones which lead to flavors of chocolate covered cherries and plum preserves on the silky smooth palate. The flavors and aromas culminate in an intense – yet elegant – finish.
