Wine Review: This white gold colored dry Riesling from Oregon opens with wet stone and mild Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is initially crisp, acidic and displays lively flavors. It settles down nicely with some air. Its flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple and lime blend with hints of Anjou pear and pineapple. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. This Riesling would pair nicely with swordfish shish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Platinum, yellow-green hues, with lovely white stone fruits, hard Christmas candy, lemon zest, orange marmalade or sugared peel, spice, cherry preserves, and minerality on the nose. White peach, citrus, allspice, and mineral flavors continue on the palate, but with a huge, sweet, fruit-cocktail impression countered by great acidity. The wine speaks impressively of weight, balance, firmness, and richness.
