Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend opens with a fragrant blueberry bouquet with hints of pomegranate and red Maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum with notes of mild red raspberry and stony minerality. I also detected some hints of faint old oak, red cherry and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate well managed tannins build up nicely and stick around for quite some time. That said, they do not get in the way. I would pair this very nice wine with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful dark ruby in color, this wine showcases lovely spice notes on the nose. On the palate, this elegant, classic Bordeaux blend demonstrates hints of spice and nutmeg that comingle with white pepper flavors in delicate harmony. The finish is long, smooth with very fine tannins, ending with a lingering freshness of fruit. This wine is to be enjoyed in the next 5-10 years.
