Wine Review: This dark pink colored Rose made from Sangiovese grapes is very good. It opens with a strawberry bouquet with hints of wild roses and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle strawberry and mild red raspberry with hints of clementine and just a kiss of minerality. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This Rose is very food friendly and would be perfect with beef or chicken satay off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: An Italian style rose with a rosy-red garnet color, bursting with plum, framboise, and red delicious apple aromas. Exquisite strawberry and cranberry flavors in the mouth are preceded by the refreshingly firm acidity. This rose has a subtle touch of sweetness and finishes creamy in texture. An elegant picnic wine to serve with fresh fruit and prosciutto, or salmon sauteed in herbs and butter. It is a perfect sipping or warm weather wine.
