Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fruit forward black raspberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry, black pepper, and light oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is tasty black raspberry with notes of black pepper, spice, nutmeg, vanilla, and blueberry. The panel thought this was one of more complex Zins we tried. The finish is dry, a little tingly, and lingers nicely. The panel suggested pairing this intriguing Zin with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Very complexly layered spice and black fruits, pretty blueberry fragrance, Creamy oak, a bit of vanilla, dark chocolate, brown spices-nutmeg/cinnamon. Rich in mouth, good structure for aging, a bit chewy in its youth.
