Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Meursault opens with a mild lemon tea and white peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and delicate. The flavor profile is a poached Bosc pear and toasted almond blend with notes of green tea, vanilla, and nutmeg. I also detected some hints of green apple skin and a touch of lemon verbena. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity show very nice length. This Chard is food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a halibut stuffed with crab meat. Enjoy - Ken
