Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Grigio from Italy opens with a green apple and lime zest bouquet with hints of white tea. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and polished for a Pinot Grigio. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and lime blend with notes of chalky minerality. I also detected hints of white tea and ginger. The finish is dry and its flavors, and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this Pinot Grigio with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Tasting notes: Straw yellow color, crystal-clear. The nose is intense and persistent, recalling fresh fruit and spring flowers. Mellow and fresh at the same time, structured, showing balance, body and persistence.
Food accompaniment: Fish-based first courses. Also, raw fish; risottos; wonderful aperitif.
