Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend opens with a black currant, black tea and black licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral influenced mild blueberry and faint black plum blend. I also detected hints of black olive, oak and a touch of black licorice in the end. The finish is dry and its tannins linger nicely. This is a very good weekday wine to enjoy with grilled Old Daley Inn marinated Angus steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 Baby Blue showcases both power and finesse. Striking Cabernet aromatics leap from the glass, deep black and blue fruits dance on the palate, followed by a soft and silky texture, fine grained tannins and glorious structure to complete the ensemble.
