Wine Review: This dark pink colored Rose is a very interesting blend of Bordeaux grapes. It was well received by our mini tasting group and did not last long. It opens with a faint strawberry bouquet with a hint of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Maraschino cherry with a faint hint of mild orange. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Rose will complement lots of foods. I would pair this wine with a grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Arriviste is an elegant, salmon-pink colored rose of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. On the nose, strawberry and iris aromas meld with hints of tropical fruit. The wine showcases crisp flavors of tart cherry, red apple and cool citrus on the mid-palate, carrying clean minerality and bright acidity on to the lingering finish. The 2014 Napa Valley growing season saw near-optimal conditions, allowing for an abundance of perfectly-ripe grapes with a smooth balance of acids and sugars, producing this spectacular rose.
