Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Mourverdre from Spain opens with a slightly musty black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very silky. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of red raspberry and plum. There were also notes of strawberry and oak with a touch of spice. This was a pretty complex wine. The finish is dry and its noticeable, but moderate tannins were lingering and long. Try this juicy red with some meat lasagna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A complex and elegant wine with a bright cherry colour, on the palate a red berry fruit character predominates. New oak is well integrated, and the wine is full and powerful with fine tannins prolonging the finish.
