Wine Review: This very very dark purple colored Pinot is Excellent! I felt it was the best wine I covered at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, lush and very concentrated The flavor profile is a lovely blueberry with notes of nicely integrated vanilla oak and cherry-cola. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are gentle and friendly. I could drink this wine on its own all night long. You could also pair it with filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dense, concentrated ruby color, hinting at the dark berry fruits and rich, textural components in this wine. On the nose, aromas of raspberry, wild blackberry and a slight earthiness. The palate is supple and layered with exotic spices, a rich meatiness, ripe plum, currant and black cherry flavors. The ripe tannins are nicely balanced with acidity, and the finish is long and fulfilling.
