Wine Review: This opaque and almost black colored Cab opens with a fragrant and ripe cassis liquor like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, rich, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty and extracted blackberry with notes of black cherry and mild old oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. This wine would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2007 Ami's Vineyards Caberent is effusive with an abundance of floral overtones that are beautifully balanced with intense fruit aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and ripe red cherries. This delightful concentration of fruit is accented with layers of dark chocolate and aromatice spices that pours into the palate that is pure silk and satin and full of the lush berry fruit promised in the aromas. The finish is long and lingering and the result is a wine that is both elegant and concentrated. This wine is an exceptional culmination of terroir and expertise.
