Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Bayten opens with a mild yellow grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and lively. The flavor profile is tart grapefruit with notes of lime, minerality, and tangerine. I also detected some hints of white pepper. The finish is rather dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is a very nice summer wine to serve slightly chilled at the beach on a hot day. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This crisp, zesty Sauvignon Blanc displays classic aromas and flavors of green fig, gooseberry and lime. Pepper and herbal notes are supported by elegant hints of mineral and chalk.
