Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with a wet stone like bouquet with a hint of orange and grapefruit. On the palate this wine is medium bodied, shows elevated acidity, and is mouthwatering. Yet it has a round feel in the mouth. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bosc pear with notes of green apple and hints of pineapple and white pepper. The finish is relatively semi-dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this wine with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: 2011 appears to be the third great vintage in a row for our estate. It is a very mineral, full-bodied, fruity wine with natural sweetness, a slight hint of acidity and a long finish. Matches perfectly well with slightly spicy dishes, fruit cake desserts or simply by itself.
