Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet from Napa opens with a mild blueberry bouquet with a hint of wet stone and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of black cherry, minerality and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This Cab is very food friendly and would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2011 B Side Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of plum, blackberry compote, cardamom and hints of cigar box. Black cherry and cassis flavors transition to bittersweet chocolate and espresso through the mid-palate, revealing layers of depth. This wine is full-bodied, with well-integrated oak and smooth, supple tannins.
