Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley opens with a very faint tropical bouquet with primarily hints of lime and banana. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic, delicate and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild pear with hints of melon and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel suggested that this very nice Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly. They also thought it would pair well with grilled rainbow trout or steamed mussels with a white wine garlic broth. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A pretty and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc that calls for warm summer days and oysters or ceviche! Brilliant pale-straw color. Aromatics of lemon, goose berry and lychee nut are held together by a backbone of minerality. Crisp, clean, bright flavors of citrus, grass, goose berry and mineral. It is a lively wine that will keep you coming back for more!
