Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Antinori opens with mild red cherry and green olive bouquet with hints of red raspberry. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright and savory. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and black cherry blend with notes of oak and dried herbs. I also detected a hint of black tea. The finish is dry, and its mild tannins are friendly and nicely prolonged. This wine is food friendly and went well with the sausage stuffed mushrooms at Carmine’s. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Bruciato 2021 has the usual intense ruby red color. On the nose stand out notes of small ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and tobacco. On the palate it is well structured, enveloping and with a pleasant fruity aftertaste which gives it pleasant drinking and persistence.
