Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with cantaloupe and prosciutto bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused gentle tangerine with hints of white pepper and faint lime. The finish is dry and it's mild acidity and flavors linger slightly. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with broiled scallops. It would also be ideal served slightly chilled by the pool this summer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright in color with gentile notes of green and light yellow. In nose, shows intensity with the expression of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, complimented by a soft citric sensation as well as spicy and floral notes, reminiscent of ginger and jasmine. In mouth it shows a balanced acidity and viscosity, long palate with many layers of flavors. At the end a savory finish provides for a complex yet harmonic taste. Ideal for pairing with fish and seafood dishes.
