Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant black licorice and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. I found that this wine opens up and improves a great deal after some time in the glass and a few swirls. The flavor profile is a juicy plum with notes of strawberry licorice and touch of black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild slightly dusty tannins are well controlled. This Zin is very food friendly and as mentioned before, improves nicely with some air. I would decant this wine and serve it with thyme seasoned pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fragrant, smooth and juicy, with black raspberry, cherry and tangy acidity. Long, pure and racy with exquisite flavors and impeccable balance.
